"Based on the results of its recent formal inspection, Beaumont High’s JROTC Bluejacket Battalion has retained its designation as a Department of the Army Honor Unit with Distinction for the sixth consecutive year. The comprehensive tri-annual program evaluation was conducted last month by inspectors from the 10th Brigade of the Western Region of the Army’s Cadet Command, which oversees 250 plus JROTC programs in Missouri, Illinois, Oklahoma and Arkansas."
